Elcometer Ltd. has acquired Belgium-based Braive Instruments SA and its French division, Braive France Sarl, manufacturers of physical test equipment to the paint and powder industry. The companies will become part of Elcometer’s worldwide business network and will be renamed Elcometer Sprl and Elcometer Sarl. The new acquisition enables Elcometer to expand its production capabilities. In addition to its full line of instruments for the quality control of surface coatings, Elcometer will now produce a wide range of inspection equipment for testing the physical properties of paint and powder formulation
